I, like many others, have spent countless hours waiting at railway stations, fighting just to find a sliver of space to breathe on overcrowded trains after a long day of work. Taking the road just means spending more money and wasting more time due to endless traffic jams. Our daily travel struggles significantly contribute to our exhaustion, mental frustration, and overall decrease in productivity. 

Therefore, we are requesting our government to make remote working compulsory for all companies that have the capability to do so. By enforcing this, employees can avoid wasting hours of their lives travelling back and forth, reducing stress, increasing productivity, saving energy, and potentially contributing towards a reduction in traffic and travel-related issues.

Additionally, the daily commute results in increased fuel consumption and higher carbon emissions, contributing to environmental degradation and poor urban air quality. Remote work can also reduce the need for people to migrate to overcrowded cities for employment, helping ease urban congestion and promote more balanced population distribution across regions. Keeping these benefits in view, it is only fair that companies who can make work from home a reality should implement it as a standard practice or maximize work from home hours.
