The Issue
Our city services suffer when our city clerk is not fully present. The current schedule is disorganized and inconsistent. She either comes in-and-out of the office or does not answer or return calls, making it impossible for the citizens to get the answers we need. City complaints, sewer bill payments, deposits - all these and more require a city clerk who is dependable and present. This is not only inconvenient but also hampers the smooth functioning of our city's operations.
There is a clear need for a change. We the citizens of Pleasureville demand the immediate implementation of a five-day, in-person work week, Monday through Friday. Remote work must be eliminated without delay, as it undermines the quality of public service and endangers the security of sensitive data and personal information.
