Too often in today's digital age, I find myself frustrated and underserved when using services that boast efficiency. Despite paying for these services, the inability to reach a real human being when I need help has become an all-too-common experience. The automated systems suppress real customer service, leaving many of us without a voice or the proper assistance when things don’t go as planned.
Imagine trying to solve an issue with your delivery, phone service, or any other essential service and being trapped in a loop of automated responses. It's infuriating! Take companies that offer no means of human contact, even when you need to raise a complaint. This is unacceptable, and it begs the question: What happened to genuine customer support?
We live in an era where companies push customers into using automated systems rather than providing them with a human touch and personalized assistance. Many are left without a lifeline, feeling helpless and ignored, simply because direct human interaction isn’t an option.
It’s time we demand change. If companies take our money, it must be the law that they provide us with the means to reach out to a real person for assistance. A contact number, email address, or a chatbot that connects to a human should always be available as a minimum standard of service.
