Some success at the Havebury Drop in day

I had the opportunity to accompany a resident to the recent drop in session. The person who we met took all the details afresh and committed to raising the matter as an investigation.

Whilst this is promising we need to continue to press the Havebury Board to pursue all the damp/mould issues across the estate. We know of dozens of residents with long standing issues which remain unresolved after any years.

Let us hope that the issue raised in Elm Close is addressed urgently and that this will prompt Havebury to some wider action. In particular we need to press Havebury to consider window replacements in advance of scheduled programmes where damp and mould are clearly attributable to ill fitting windows or expired glazing panels.
