A rising dilemma plagues our community - delivering food in Jyväskylä has turned into a risk and financial burdens, specifically for food delivery drivers like us. Once upon a time, we were able to utilize options such as the Jyväskeskus parking area and 10-minute free parking spaces near the city center, which allowed us to quickly pickup and deliver your meals, hot and fresh, without incurring unnecessary costs. However, these options have evaporated and we're left to cope with inconvenient parking regulations.

Due to the lack of adequate parking spots, we’re left with no other choice but to park in restricted areas, which has resulted in countless tickets that we cannot afford to pay. Consider the fact that we stop about 20 times a day to pick up and deliver food.

Requesting the implementation of free 10-15 minute parking at all restaurants within the city can be a practical resolution to this dilemma. It would allow timely pickup of meals, reduce the risk for us drivers,Not only would this idea encourage more economic activity for the local businesses, but it would also reduce the burden on us, the drivers. who are an essential part of this city's food industry supply chain.
