Currently, many users who have sent USDT SOL to UDSC SOL are unable to recover their funds. This is due to the fact that Coinbase does not yet support USDT SPL tokens on Solana. The lack of this feature has led to significant financial losses for a large number of individuals. According to a report by CoinMarketCap, as of 2021, Tether (USDT) is the third-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, with over $68 billion in circulation (source: CoinMarketCap). By not supporting USDT SPL tokens on Solana, Coinbase is preventing its users from accessing and utilizing a significant portion of the crypto market while at the same time, they are withholding people funds by saying blatant lies, that "they can't recover it" or that "maybe you will be able to recover it in the future if we feel like activating it". Urge Coinbase to enable this feature promptly so that those affected can recover their funds and continue participating in the vibrant crypto economy.
