I am a resident of Kentucky, USA, and like many others in my community and organization, I am personally affected by the lack of comprehensive health care coverage. We are living with diseases such as obesity that have been medically recognized for decades but are not covered by our insurance policies. In Kentucky specifically, more than one-third of adults are obese (source: StateofObesity.org). These statistics highlight the urgent need for action from our city government.

We call on you to mandate city government to provide healthcare services for all diseases including obesity, ensuring that everyone has access to necessary treatments regardless of their ability to pay or their insurer's willingness to cover costs.
