My son, a wonderful, joyful, and amicable child, faced severe hardships while attending one of the Toronto District School Board's institutions. Despite my unceasing efforts to ensure a safe environment for him, he was negatively IMPACTED from being first verbal/physical then to threats about (GUNS) grade 4!!!!!

their so young these children talking about that stuff!!!Then by the school's unresolved issues of bullying and lack of support with behaviour issues - his name tarnished, motivation crushed. A whole academic year slipped away, which had a significant impact on his wellbeing with minimal action taken.

As it stands, the Toronto District School Board appears to be failing not just my child and family, but potentially many others who remain voiceless - their pleas for change unheard. We request that the authorities step forward, acknowledging this systemic problem and advocating for a robust anti-bullying program in every public and junior school within the district. Get them ready for highschool and how all things changes as you get older in age moving up in grades. 

We demand the reintroduction of police-based educational talks to discuss the harmful effects of bullying, drugs, and violence with the students. It is high time that the district aligns its actions with its promises and fosters an environment conducive to nurturing every child's potential - physically, intellectually, and emotionally.
