I am writing this petition from a deeply personal place, as I have faced the heart-rendering sight of stray and injured animals suffering without care in Saudi Arabia, particularly in industrial regions. The extreme weather, along with lack of food and water, contribute to their suffering. What amplifies this issue is the lack of birth control measures, leading to a rapid increase in their numbers.

In Saudi Arabia, where even basic care and shelter facilities for animals are sparse, this issue is of pressing concern. We are calling for the Saudi Arabian Government to acknowledge and address this situation urgently. We must provide these voiceless creatures with the basic right to life and care which they deeply need and rightly deserve.

By requiring animal shelters and veterinary clinics, we can stem the distressing state of stray and injured animals in our society. Facilities like these can offer sanctuary for stray animals, as well as providing necessary medical care for injured ones. They can also aid in implementing birth control measures to manage the increasing population.

This will not just alleviate animal suffering but also contribute to our society's overall health, as multiple studies show that there are decreased levels of violence and better mental health in places caring for animals (Humane Society International).

Help contribute to a kinder, healthier, and more compassionate society by endorsing this change. Let our voice reach those in the power to instigate this necessary and fundamental change in animal welfare. Please sign this petition.
