Have You Seen 'Er?: A Tribute to Victoria Wood

Hi everyone I wanted to let you all know on here that we've been beavering away and we can announce our special tribute event is happening on Saturday 4 June from 2-3pm at Victoria Station in Manchester. We felt that Manchester and the region needed to say our goodbye to Victoria, our much loved local comedy hero and national treasure, and what better way than with song, cake, tears and laughter. Oh and a bit of dressing up. Come along if you can. It's free to the public and the event will be hosted by Sue Devaney (who played Jane in Dinnerladies) and Manchester Lesbian and Gay Chorus will be doing their special LGBT tribute. Spirits will be buoyed by the ladies of Salford Angels WI will be selling slices of tribute Victoria Sponges in aid of Jessie's Fund, the musical therapy charity, of which Victoria was Patron.
