Dear Supporter, 

We return to court next week to continue appealing the noise abatement notice served upon us by Manchester City Council. The final two date hearing starts on the 21st March and is at Manchester Magistrates Court. The judge will then consider and decide whether to uphold or drop the notice. We expect to hear the judge’s decision sometime after the hearing.

We are very surprised and disappointed that MCC has refused to take responsibility for the root cause of the problem which is that when MCC Planning approved the building of flats next to Night & Day there was no consideration to the neighbouring pre-existing music venue. We've sent out a press release today which you can read in full here.
