The key reason we should ban Israeli products is because of their inhuman behavior towards Palestine. Each day numerous Palestinian citizens are being wounded, killed, hence they are destroying buildings and Palestinian neighborhoods as well. Moreover, the Israeli military is invading and forcefully expelling Palestinians from their homes. They have had restrictions enforced on their movement, access to their water, land, and other natural resources.

As a result of all of these factors, I believe it is our responsibility to boycott Israeli products and prevent us from contributing directly or indirectly to Israel's economy.

Israeli goods consist of a small percentage of imports to the Maldives, such as Coca-Cola, KitKat, and Nestle. Thus, boycotting these products will not cause many impacts on our country. Therefore, we should ban Israeli settlement goods from entering Maldivian markets and aid in ending the cycle of violations suffered by Palestinians living under Israel’s occupation.
