Why did we have to go to court to help a seriously ill little girl?

Dear supporters, Some of you may have seen the news today about a young girl who needed an urgent medical transfer from Nauru https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2018/feb/10/judge-orders-nauru-refugee-girls-transfer-to-australia-over-suicide-risk . I wish we didn’t have to go to the Federal Court to force our leaders to show some basic humanity. I want to thank you all for your continuing support, we couldn't achieve this work without it.
