Return the $444 million given to the Great Barrier Reef Foundation by improper process.

The issue

444 million dollars was given to a small environmental charity with a board comprised of representatives of mainly Australian business, supported by companies including BHP, Qantas, Rio Tinto, Google and Orica.

The chair John Schubert, is a former director of BHP and the Commonwealth Bank, who met with the Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Environment and Energy Minister Josh Frydenberg in a secret deal to hand over the half a billion dollars to help "protect" the Great Barrier Reef.

We are asking for the money to be returned and put through a proper tender process so that there is equal opportunity for all environmental organisations to acquire funding to aid in reef protection.
