Fellow New Jerseyans of Ocean County, Monmouth County, Middlesex, and Somerset Counties, as you can see, we clearly have a major lack of rail service in ALL 4 of our major and densely populated communities. Many of us either take buses or our cars to major city’s in North Jersey such as Hoboken, Jersey City, and NYC. With the “proposed” “Monmouth Ocean Middlesex Line” (that has been running dry for years now) we would have train service that would serve the (POSSIBLE) following towns: Lakehurst, Manchester, Jackson, Lakewood, Howell, Freehold Township & Burroughs, Marlboro, Morganville, Aberdeen-Matawan, Eatontown, Red Bank, Manalapan, South Brunswick, and finally Monmouth Junction towns all in the 4 counties. Could you imagine how convenient it would be to simply drive a few minutes to a train station in your town, park your car, and take a train directly to major city’s in North Jersey with plenty of other connections to other New Jersey Transit lines and towns? Seems pretty ideal to me without having to deal with traffic and the haste of driving through rush hour traffic and expensive tolls into the city. 

In conclusion.. this major train line proposal has been gathering dust for YEARS without any updates of whether it will happen or not. So I thought I should take it upon myself to create a petition to utilize these proposed lines with already existing tracks going through major towns to have rail service for these unserved communities!
