Making the case for Norman Scott: The Family demands Bail Bond.

The Issue

https://youtu.be/qIyC57H8BvQ?si=X9vK43IQTIfNWoej

Norman Scott, is a productive member of his community in W. Palm Beach, FL, was faced with the decision of life or death and chose to protect his family during a tyrannical assault. Exercising his Second Amendment right, he defended himself and his loved ones but was subsequently thrown in jail on May 4th, 2024. He remains incarcerated at the expense of taxpayers' dollars and at great risk to his health.

According to the Scott’s family they lived in their home for 25 years without any issues. When the new tenants moved in next door, the Scotts began to face harassment. They were never enemies, but the new family did not feel the same, for obvious reasons, race and prejudice. Multiple complaints were made but ignored by the HOA and the landlord. On the day in question, the attacker  6 foot tall, and heavy built attacked Scott after he called and beckoned to him to remove the basket ball backboard from his security camera, which is a crime in the state of FL. Blocking a security camera without written permission is a felony.  On the base of the basket ball base were 3 large boulder blocks. The other party apparently assisted the attacker. It was Mr. Scott who made the 911 call.

Norman is a Pilot and airplane Mechanic by profession, and has been on the job for 25 years. He has been licensed to carry a concealed weapon for several years now. And according to family, Scott understood the laws in his state, regarding gun ownership.  He is a man of Faith. And was waiting to retire with only 2 more years to go. He is a hard working man, and the main bread- winner.

This petition is a far cry for justice and calls for the immediate release of Mr. Scott from the Florida Penal System pending further investigation into this matter. His continued detention is not only unjust but also detrimental to both him and our community.

Please sign this petition to demand Mr. Scott's immediate release while investigations continue!
