The issue

As someone living with Coeliac disease in New Zealand, I personally experience the difficulty of finding alternatives to my everyday staples. Different bread options are available, however, not all live up to the taste and texture we yearn for. Warburton's gluten free bread, popular in the UK for its quality, is unfortunately not available in our country.

Celiac disease affects 1 in 70 New Zealanders, with up to 80% more remaining undiagnosed (Coeliac New Zealand). That's a significant number of people potentially struggling with the same issue, a lack of high-quality, gluten-free bread options. The introduction of Warburton's gluten free bread in New Zealand could help alleviate this struggle, giving us more variety and choice.

By signing this petition, you are supporting the effort to bring Warburton's gluten free bread to New Zealand, providing an improved lifestyle for those living with Coeliac disease or choosing a gluten-free diet. With your help, we can increase our food options and improve dietary management for thousands of individuals in New Zealand. Please, sign and share this petition to make a difference in our gluten-free community.

They have...

Cob loaf, Tiger bread loaf, Sourdough loaf, sandwich thins wholemeal/white/seeded/fruit, english muffins, brioche rolls, white rolls, wholemeal rolls, white/seeded/wholemeal loaf, crumpets, pitas, wraps wholemeal/white/beetroot, long rolls, farmhouse multiseed/wholemeal/ white loaf, fruity buns cinnamon and raisin.

They have also just entered the "free from" cake range with their Chocolate Raspberry and hazelnut and chocolate orange and gingerbread cake squares.
