We mustn't force people to share their pronouns, but we must encourage.

Pronouns are personal, you own them.

I don't mind sharing my pronouns: he/him/his

There are others, however, that are certainly going to feel uncomfortable sharing their pronouns - and that's okay!

The feature we're petitioning for is a seperate feature that would appear on someone's profile. I designed a rough concept of how this could look on Instagram. Have a look at the photo attached to this update. This box, like the website box, would be entirely optional to fill out. The idea is that the existence of this box alone would encourage people to share their pronouns.
