Hi everyone,

A quick update on where we stand: I’ve now heard back from the Rail Ombudsman, and unfortunately, they’ve confirmed that they can’t handle complaints about ticketing policy.

They’ve passed my case back to Transport Focus — who do support this campaign, and recognise how unfair the current system is for night shift workers. But real change won’t happen unless we keep the pressure on publicly.

That means we need to go beyond petitions — and start flooding social media, trusts, unions, and policy circles with this issue.

We're now past 20,000 signatures — and this is real evidence of public support. But it still won’t be enough unless we show them we’re serious.

We’re being penalised for working nights.
We’re being charged twice for one shift.
And it needs to stop.
