Getting the bus/tram/train are not very expensive for 1 or 2 trips. But what if you need to be getting the bus for the whole school year, or a taxi to get to work? It all adds up after a while, as me ( being a student) and many other people of all ages are travelling here and there almost every day. And for me to have been getting the bus since the start of the school year, it has costed over £200. You might think, 'Oh, that's not much for me', but it is a lot of money for many people in the UK. So I believe that prices for public transport should go down by a quarter (to 75p) or even by a half (to 50p). This would save many people across the UK lots of money. And most of the time, the bus can be very slow. You're probably thinking 'if it's so slow, get a taxi' but taxis can be slow if there's traffic and are even more expensive than getting public transport. I believe that this is an issue that is not very much talked about, which is why I have started this petition. Please sign this if you are interested and thank you for reading this.
