Petition updateMake the UK Home Office visa application process fair & transparentHelp Us Show The Home Office Why Family & Love Is Important

It’s no secret that Stephen & I are disappointed with the Home Office - especially given the way they have treated us and their attempt to unfairly force our family apart. We are just two of the many thousands of people who are being terribly affected by the actions (or lack of action), by the Home Office. It’s hurting us emotionally, mentally & financially.

The UK visa application process shouldn’t necessarily just be about box-ticking and a one-size fits all approach. Whilst we agree that the UK must ensure immigration is controlled, we also strongly believe it should be a fair & transparent process and one that ensures families are entitled to live together and not be split up (especially when fundamental mistakes have been made on behalf of the Home Office).

We know that two men and a dog are not your typical family, but regardless of your sexual orientation, your ethnicity, your beliefs or where you’re from and whatever your family looks like, you have the right to be treated as one.

Today, we ask that we all unify and show the Home Office exactly why family & love is important and let them know that you & your family supports our little family in our struggle to stay together.

Stephen & I would love if you could share a fun family photo (just like the one in this update), which shows the unique bond that your family or partner cherish so dearly. We also ask that you tweet your photo to the Home Office with a message of support for our cause.

An example tweet could be (feel free to copy & paste this):

.@ukhomeoffice, from one family to another, we support @RustyGoodall, @buck_that & Oscar in their fight to stay together as a loving family #KeepThemTogether bit.ly/2Mbg6XN

Please don’t forget to add in your photo. The link in the tweet above is to this petition.

We really could not do this without your amazing support. It's so reassuring to know that we have the support of each and every one of you, and we are incredibly grateful for your help.

Thank you - Rusty, Stephen & Oscar xx
