The petition continues to grow with the prospect of many more signatures over summer!
I just spoke with a lady at Royal Park Oval. She had her playful little poodle companion and she supports our cause.
She mentioned that she is no longer able to drive and is very disappointed with the Borough of Queenscliffe’s stance on Royal Park. She is unlikely, like many people in Lonnie, to make it to either off-leash area in the Borough and, like a lot more people, lives close nearby.
After talking with her I reaffirm my commitment to continue to push this petition to make a park, that is seldom used, available off leash without the risk of a harsh fine to a significantly large part of the town.
