We delivered more than 10,000 signatures to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences! The signatures were graciously accepted, and we were ensured they would find be delivered to Dawn Hudson, the CEO of the Academy.
And in just over 24 hrs, the 91st Oscars will air on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC). And we believe what better way to celebrate an industry that has championed equality and progressive values more than extending that empathy to animals with a fur-free red carpet and a #FurFreeOscars.
Many artists have fought their entire lives to end the fur industry, and what better way to celebrate these animal activists—many of who are Oscar nominees and winners—than for ABC and The Academy to officially declare a #FurFreeOscars.
