This corridor has experienced 10 crashes in the past five years, resulting in injuries, with 7 crashes involving pedestrians and cyclists. Many residents have expressed concern about how dangerous our streets have become. A demonstration protected two-way bike lane will be installed in the Heights neighborhood of Jersey City. We would like this bike lane to become permanent to ensure pedestrian and cyclist safety.

This would be the first protected bike lane installation in the Heights and would serve as an important future connection for residents to safely travel to the Journal Square Transportation Center. Please sign this petition to make our streets safer for everyone!
