We’re asking Unicode to add the Mana Wave to the official emoji set.

The Mana Wave is a hand gesture for sending mana, strength, warmth, aroha, encouragement, and good energy.

The meaning is simple:

“I throw you my mana.”

We already have emojis for waving 👋, praying 🙏, clapping 👏, flexing 💪, and raising a hand 🙋. But there is no clear emoji for sending someone your energy or support.

The Mana Wave would give people a simple way to say:

“I’m backing you.”
“I’m sending strength.”
“Go well.”
“I see you.”
“I’m with you.”
“Take my mana.”

This petition supports a formal Unicode emoji proposal for a new emoji: Mana Wave Hand.

Unicode will assess the proposal against its own criteria, including usage evidence, distinctiveness, and whether the emoji fills a gap in the current emoji set. This petition helps show that people would recognise, use, and value the Mana Wave if it became official.
