Make the intersection of Dominikovich and Awhitu Roads Safer

Make the intersection of Dominikovich and Awhitu Roads Safer
The issue
I have been asking Auckland Transport for intersection safety improvements for the 10 years I have lived on Dominikovich Road.
To date, apart from the area wide safer speed reduction from 100km to 80km on Awhitu Road, nothing else has been done.
We are one of 3 homes along the 900m gravel Dominikovich Road.
The intersection is treacherous. There is 20-25m visibility, no traction in the gravel, no dangerous corner sign, no mirror, no merge bay, no road verge to pull over quickly (steep drains).
The answer has been NO to everything, every time.
I have asked for the village 60k zone to be extended past Dominikovich Road intersection -
The answer again was NO.
I was advised not to erect my own signage or mirrors for liability reasons.
My son is now 16 with his new learners licence and a bad situation now feels desperate.
I am very grateful for all voting support here for safety improvements.
I would really appreciate your comments about how you perceive its safety as it seems I need to collect the evidence myself that it is indeed dangerous.
Steps taken so far:
**Requested AT come and inspect and improve safety 2013/14 to 2023 - NO so far
**Reported near misses to AT over the last 4-5 years
**Contacted the ombudsman to report I do not agree with AT's decision to do nothing - case accepted, now investigating
**Asked for assistance from elected members, so far they have been unable to effect change, including a plea for help to an MP
**Reported AT's lack of willingness to assess safety or acknowledge near misses to Worksafe - they referred me back to AT or Waka Kotahi
**Lodged a complaint with Waka Kotahi about AT's unwillingness to help us - they referred me back to AT
**Requested a historic Traffic Crash Report from NZ Police under official information act.
**A plea for community support in Feb edition of local newspaper, Peninsularama
**Gary Holmes, Franklin LB elected member came to visit and see the issue, thank you
**I have been given the opportunity to present to the Local Board on 28 March 2023 in Pukekohe (9:30 meeting).
