I want to see the Geelong Ford manufacturing plant turned in to a museum to honor the history of Ford in geelong.

It would also bring in tourism to geelong.

For me, I was to young to have the opportunity to see the Ford manufacturing plant when my dad worked there. Ford cars have always inspired me, and they've given me a hobby for life, so it means a lot to me. I love Ford and think the history of Ford in Geelong is very interesting and important.

I don't think i would be the only one who feels this sense of connection. 

Even though the Ford site is moving forward with things like Amazon, locals still refer to the site as Ford. And we should preserve the Ford site's history before companies have taken over the site, and before the history is lost.

I think turning the Ford site in to a museum would bring more tourism to geelong, especially if we can host events such as all Ford day at the site. I would also like to see the iconic Ford sign reinstated.
