The characters have resonated with audiences, not just because of their delightful adventures, but because of the hand-drawn feel that the 2D animation offers, which has become synonymous with Bluey's identity. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," is the phrase that echoes in our hearts as we imagine a Bluey movie in 3D.

The transition to a 3D animation for the Bluey movie risks losing the essence and warmth that the 2D style brings. While 3D animation is visually impressive, it just isn't a proper fit for a show that has been in 2D for its entire existence.

Several aspects of the character design would be difficult to translate into 3D, as can be seen by the strange, slightly unnatural shape of the plushies. This will leave the audience constantly staring at the strange forms of the characters they have always known in a medium they're better suited to, not enjoying the story. Just because 3D animation is trendy doesn't mean that everyone should do it.

We urge the creators and producers of the Bluey movie to remain true to the beloved show's roots and choose 2D as the medium for this cinematic venture.
