The epidemic continues

Hi there survivors and supporters,

It is with great disappointment that I report that the violence at Yarrabilba State School continues to escalate with a terrible start to the year with unprovoked assaults on both my son in grade 1 and my daughter in grade 2. Within the first 2 weeks my son had been pushed to the ground and kicked in an unprovoked attack in the playground. Yesterday my daughter was pushed onto the concrete by a boy leaving her with a nasty graze on her elbow and bruises on her legs. The parents Facebook pages and Yarrabilba community pages have been an outlet for parents to make public their anger at assaults on their children already this year at Yarrabilba State School and I have pages and pages of recounts of the abuse as screenshots which I have been accumulating since last year. Our children remain at significant risk at this school and we need action by the government now!
