It's almost impossible to find anywhere to use a toilet in Dublin city centre, or indeed in Dublin in general. Even shopping centres and large department stores rarely provide bathroom facilities. Where they are provided, they are frequently closed for much of the day. Some request payment, although customers are already spending money in the business/es and can reasonably expect to have a bathroom available.

I petition Dublin City Council to:

1) Make public bathrooms available;

2) Insist that shopping centres and large shops make toilets available throughout opening hours;

3) Prohibit charges for customer toilets;

4) Insist especially that every café and restaurant, however small, always has a customer toilet.
