Make sexual arousal around Newborns, Infants, children, teens punishable offense in Canada.
The Issue
The protection of children is of paramount importance in any society. Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) continues to be a pervasive issue with devastating impacts on children's lives and society as a whole. In Canada, current laws are designed to prosecute those who act on predatory urges and impulses; however, individuals who experience sexual arousal merely by being in the presence of newborns/ infants/Toddlers. children and teens and emerging young adults under 30, even if they do not act on these impulses, pose potential risks that need to be addressed before they manifest in harmful actions.
We propose introducing legislation in Canada that extends the definition of criminal behavior to include those who experience sexual arousal in the presence of children. This initiative aims to proactively address potential threats by instituting a life sentence for individuals who are found guilty under this proposed law. By doing so, we aim to eliminate any possibility of Child Sexual Abuse before it occurs, offering children an environment where they can feel truly safe.
Additionally, we believe that anyone who openly admits to being sexually aroused by children should be treated as any other sex offender in Canada under this proposed legislation. This includes mandatory registration as a sex offender, undergoing necessary rehabilitation programs, and being subjected to community supervision. Such measures would help in monitoring potential offenders and in safeguarding our communities while providing the necessary support and intervention to prevent potential offenses.
Statistics have shown that stringent laws are effective in preventing crimes. By implementing these measures, we can significantly reduce the occurrence of CSA, thereby protecting thousands of children from suffering unimaginable trauma. We acknowledge that this proposal is ambitious and may face criticism, but the safety and well-being of our children must be the highest priority.
We urge the Canadian government to consider this petition seriously, as prevention is not only more effective but also more humane than trying to repair damage after it occurs. Protect our children, strengthen our laws, and create a Canada that leaves no room for potential abusers to thrive.
Please sign this petition to demand stronger legal action against those who pose a threat to our children even before a crime is committed. Your support can drive the change we desperately need to protect future generations.
