Roblox is an online game platform and game creation system developed by Roblox Corporation that allows users to program and play games created by themselves or other users. It was created by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel in 2004, and released to the public in 2006.

On November 21st, 2023, the Reddit user ExplodeNotTaken reported on the subreddit ROBLOXBans the first enforcement ban ever made on the platform under the moderator note "You created or used an account to avoid an enforcement action taken against another account".

An enforcement ban happens when a Roblox account gets terminated and all the accounts related to that account (such as same email address, date of birth or IP Address) get terminated as well. This can be a problem because this can cause innocent people to get their account terminated as well

Let's say you and your sibling both have a Roblox account, your sibling gets terminated for harassing people, your account will be terminated as well because you and your sibling's account were both on the same IP Address. Appealing the ban will be useless, because Roblox Support is mostly unhelpful and doesn't solve people's problems. There's a big chance Roblox will deny your appeal and assume your sibling's account is one of your alt accounts. Rendering your account useless and gone forever thanks to your sibling.

Recently, Roblox was making enforcement ban waves. This caused backlash towards Roblox in the community and many innocent people reported their accounts getting unfairly terminated thanks to the enforcement ban wave.
