Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to say thank you for all the new signatures and to let you all know the latest on the campaign.
I met with my MP this morning and whilst things are moving slowly, I am pleased to announce they are at least moving in the right direction.
A rule bill is being written up and will be read out in parliament when its ready and at the next convenient time.
I was once again reassured that the Transport Minister is in total agreement with what we are trying to achieve here.
While it was initially my Son’s accident that inspired me to do this It is very important to me that this change covers how to look out for everyone on the road.
Motorcyclists/cyclists/cars/lorrys/vans etc
Highlighting eachothers blind spots. How we all react differently to road signs and possible hazards in the road.
Intoducing the dutch reach
Blind bends hidden dips and junctions and more.
This will all be in a video that will come before any questions on the test.
We now have to go through all the red tape which is what takes the time.
But I will post regular updates as soon as I know anything official.
Thank you for all your emails and positive suggestions and ideas.
