Hi everyone, 

So excited to announce that we're having an event with UN Women UK and I Weigh to kick off a huge year of activism. It's the launch of Safe Spaces Now, a project working to make safer and more inclusive public spaces free from violence.

The panel discussion has some amazing activist speakers: 

• Scarlett Curtis - Writer, activist, Pink Protest member
• Gina Martin - Upskirting campaigner
• Amika George - Founder of FreePeriods

Change.org will also be hosting an "How to be an activist" workshop and there'll be an art exhibition of activist pieces and a storytelling booth to have your say about the world you want to see. 

This event is to meet likeminded campaigners, learn the tools to become an even more powerful activist and change the world - so get yourself a ticket! 

I think they'll sell out quickly so do get a ticket ASAP if you'd like to come. If the £8 is a lot for you, under the ticket option there's an email to write to and ask for a discounted ticket.
