Growing up with a yard full of sled dogs was the foundation of my life. These majestic animals, to me and countless others, are not just pets but cherished family members. With their big brown eyes and boundless energy, each dog possesses a sentience that allows them to feel love, joy, and unfortunately, even pain. This understanding is why I've dedicated myself as an Animal Rights Advocate in The Yukon and have tirelessly campaigned to ensure that dogs are never subjected to abuse or forced to compete in sports events that jeopardize their well-being.

A significant aspect of promoting animal rights and garnering support is through platforms like Change.org where passionate advocates can voice their concerns and gather supporters who share their vision. The comments section of a petition is crucial; it's a space for supporters to express their opinions, share their own experiences, and create a sense of community united by a common goal.

Recently, the comments on my petition, which have grown to approx 26,000 remarks, have become invisible to those who view it. This is deeply concerning as it deprives new supporters of seeing the overwhelming backing and the heartfelt narratives shared by others. These comments not only strengthen the appeal but also inspire trust and transparency, crucial to mobilizing more support for the cause.

I am calling on Change.org to restore visibility to these comments, ensuring that those who support animal rights, just like I was inspired, can continue to contribute to this vital discussion. Ensuring that these voices are heard and visible is not just a technical necessity but a moral imperative for maintaining community engagement and advocacy's effectiveness.

My petition has been signed by 151,123 supporters and of those 16,000 supporters have commented yet only two comments are visible to the public.
