Pet Theft Petition Has More Than 188,000 signatures

Once again people have pulled out all the stops, and this petition has really taken off and will make the difference  With your help we should pass the amazing 200,000 mark. Please share as much as you can.

Are you aware that whole litters of young puppies are also stolen? Last year a litter of eight one day old French Bulldog pups were stolen at knifepoint from a pregnant woman They were dumped outside of a Vets the next day. Six of them died. It is not clear whether a reward was paid for the pups return, or the robbers panicked because of the publicity. I can find no reports of the robbers ever being found.

In my article The Dramatic Rise in Dog Thefts in the UK. I explain that Dog thefts are probably 10 times larger than the official figures show. I believe that is because the victims have lost confidence in our law and the police, and have turned to places like Dog Lost. It was my article that stimulated me to start the petition. It also explains what you need to do to keep your pets safe. Keep up the good work and thank you.
