70,000 signatures! Tomorrow is going to be huge

For those who don’t know me, I’m Dr Monique Ryan, the Independent Federal Member for Kooyong.

I’m writing to let you know some exciting news — with more than 70,000 signatures, our petition is now the largest ever petition calling on the government to fix HECS debts.

These petitions work. I’m meeting with the Education Minister tomorrow to give him the petition and ask him to fix HECS debts.

I know the government is considering changes as we speak, and the bigger the petition the more likely the government will be to act.

That’s why the next 12 hours are vital. This is our last chance to show the Education Minister the overwhelming support there is in Australia to make HECS debts easier to pay off.
