Dear Officer Rivas

We are  starting this petition on behalf of many households in the Los Feliz community located between N Western Ave & N Hobart Blvd and Los Feliz Blvd & Franklin Ave. We have formed a group to stay connected and informed on neighborhood issues. We are reaching out to inform you that Officer Ivan Gracia has proven to be an exceptional asset to our community.

In the short time that he has been our interim Senior Lead Officer (SLO), he has built strong relationships with the residents and other local stakeholders. Our area is uniquely positioned between Griffith Park and Hollywood, and continues to experience a lot of challenges with homeless and RV’s, and particularly this year with arson, copper wire theft, and spike in burglaries, home invasions and car thefts which has made the residents very concerned. Our neighborhood greatly values working with an officer who understands our needs and provides transparency. He is very responsive and has made himself available for neighborhood meetings. SLO Gracia has not only kept us informed but also made us feel heard and supported.

We want to provide feedback on his performance for the current role and provide full support and recommendation to be permanently assigned as the SLO for our area.
