   - Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland share a common history, culture, and language. Many argue that reunification would correct the historical division imposed by British rule in the early 20th century, which many see as unjust and artificial.

   - For many people in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, the concept of a united Ireland is central to their national identity. Reunification could be seen as a way to fulfill the aspiration of a fully sovereign Irish nation.

 

3. **Economic Benefits**:

   - A united Ireland could potentially bring economic benefits. The Republic of Ireland has experienced significant economic growth in recent decades, and a unified market could lead to increased trade, investment, and development opportunities across the entire island.

 

4. **Political Stability**:

   - Some argue that reunification could contribute to greater political stability in the region. The division of Ireland has been a source of conflict, most notably during the Troubles, and a united Ireland could help heal long-standing divisions and reduce sectarian tensions.

Irish people have fought since 1169 against British colonisation. This island is, always was, and always wil be rightfully ours.
