Hi everyone,

Thank you all for your incredible support so far! Your voices are making a real impact.

I’ve now formally raised our concerns with Cr Andrew Wines and the QLD Office of Liquor & Gaming, highlighting the major issues from Brisbane City Football Club’s (BCFC) event management, including:

1. Traffic & Safety: Excessive vehicle and pedestrian congestion on Newbery Street, Market, and Mark streets with hotted-up cars drag racing after the main match.

2. Illegal Parking: Brisbane City Council Rapid Response attended and issued infringement notices.

3. Waste Management Issues: Unsecured bins leading to litter, bad odors, and vermin.

4. Event Permit Concerns: We’ve asked for evidence of a permit, as events exceeding 1,000 attendees require one under Council regulations.

I've also requested a follow-up meeting with Cr Wines now that the local community has backed this issue.

Please help us keep the momentum going by sharing this petition across all your social networks – the more voices we have, the harder we are to ignore!

Thanks again for your support – I’ll keep you all updated!
