Other countries have implemented strict cross-contamination protocols, staff training, and menu substitutions that cater to coeliac customers without compromising on safety or taste. McDonald's UK could adopt similar measures by:

1. Introducing a gluten-free bun option, just like McDonald's locations in Europe and the US.
2. Training staff extensively on preventing cross-contamination in the kitchen to ensure not just the availability but the safety of gluten-free options.
3. Adjusting pricing to reflect the modifications needed for coeliac-safe meal preparations.

Creating coeliac-safe McDonald's locations in the UK would not only enhance the dining options for thousands of us living with coeliac disease but can also serve as a broader corporate commitment to inclusivity and customer care.
