I really enjoyed all of the Madagascar movies made by Dreamworks. The first film was released in 2005, the second film came out in 2008, and the third film came out in 2012. I enjoyed all three of these films, and I would like to see a fourth film happen. In January 2015, Madagascar 4 was removed from the release schedule following corporate restructuring and DreamWorks Animation's new policy to release two films a year. If Disney Pixar animation studios can produce Toy Story 4, then Dreamworks Animation can for sure produce Madagascar 4. Even though the rumors might be true for the fourth part of Madagascar happening, there haven't been any new updates about its production and release dates. However, in April 2017, actor and director Tom McGrath said this about the film: "There are things in the works, nothing is announced yet, but I think they'll show their faces once more..."
