Every year, thousands of children and innocent people are bitten or attacked by unrestrained dogs, often resulting in severe injuries. While most dogs are not inherently dangerous, lack of proper control and training can lead to unpredictable behavior, especially in public spaces. By implementing mandatory leash laws, offering training classes for dog owners, and considering the banning of inherently aggressive breeds like pit bulls, we can significantly reduce the risk of such incidents. Leash laws would ensure dogs are safely contained in public, while training classes would educate owners on how to properly socialize and manage their pets. Banning certain breeds that are known to be more prone to aggression would further protect vulnerable individuals, creating safer environments for everyone and promoting responsible pet ownership.
