Reflections on the last 18 months

Monday marked a year and a half since Qwentyn’s passing, and we still miss him every day. It’s been so touching to see all of your support during this time. When we started this petition six months ago, we had no idea we would have so many people standing with us. Today, more than 80,000 of you have joined the campaign, we’ve gone on The TODAY Show to speak about our fight, and we’ve worked together to make sure this important issue isn’t overlooked. Our work prompted CLIA to recently state that they are continuing to assess the need for lifeguards on ships, among other things. All of this makes us so hopeful that we can get Carnival and CLIA to change its ways. We know the fight will be long, but we are confident that we can make it happen with you on our team.
