Thank you so much for supporting this petition.

We've reached the first 1,000 signatures already.  Let's make tipping truly voluntary again, rather than bouncing customers along with confusing bills.  

There's is nothing wrong with being asked if you would like to add a tip, but let's not have it arrive as a fait accompli.  And definitely, let's avoid bills that include service charges, AND tips, AND VAT!  Instinct tells us this is not the way to do business. 

Keep sharing, and let's see if we can change things.  I'll let you know if I hear back from the sponsor of the Employment (Allocation of Tips) Act, Viginia Crosbie MP about the possibility of putting something in the Code of Practice.
