Make it an offence for NHS Doctors to refuse treatment to Type2 Diabetes Patients

The Issue

During Covid millions were spent on Covid Hospitals that had few patients because of strict rules imposed by NHS staff. Yesterday I discovered that after my GP and a specialist doctor confirmed my need for a minor operation, due to rules issued , I would not be eligible for treatment unless my blood sugar level was 70 or below , my last reading was 79 in April. As a Labour Councillor I see this as a deliberate manipulation to discriminate against people with type 2 diabetes. my attempts to have this petition on the Government website have not been successful.

If you believe this backdoor discrimination against people with type 2 diabetes  by the NHS should be stopped please sign and share this petition
