STOP THE COVERUPS

Right now in the UK, Vulnerable individuals are being systematically failed by a broken public accountability system. When citizens try to expose neglect, malpractice, or abuse by local councils, and housing officials, they face a wall of silence.

Worse still, vital evidence- safeguarding documents, medical records, criminal reports, and personal files is being intentionally deleted or altered on day-to-day casework to coverup institutional failures.

When victims try to escalate these issues, council complaint departments fraudulent block stage 1 complaints, and local police forces routinely refuse to investigate their colleagues in local government. The current laws are failing us because there is no independent, fast-tracked system to hold these officials personally accountable.

We call for a new statutory law that introduce

Automatic Criminal Liability: Immediate criminal charges for any council officer, housing official, or police officer who intentionally deletes, alters, or suppresses safeguarding, medical, or criminal casework files.

Independent Investigations: Moving investigations into council misconduct entirely away from local police forces to a completely independent, neutral body.

Ending Complaint Suppression: Personal, legal penalties for managers who intentionally block or fraudulently close stage 1 and stage 2 statutory complaints.

Because my daughter and I  have lived through this exact nightmare, we watched public officials destroy our files and coverup their tracks while the police refused to step in. No one should be above the law, especially those paid by the public to protect the most vulnerable.
