Code 64633 DESTROY CERV/ THOR FACET
Dear Patient,
After carefully reviewing the information your doctor sent us, we determined the service is not medically necessary. This letter explains why. It describes your right to ask for an appeal. It also describes......blah, blah, BLAH!
This company SERIOUSLY needs to come up with a new go-to line: the service is not medically necessary. I guess my right to live a pain-free life isn't necessary either. You know, as ridiculous as this may sound, I SWEAR they have someone over there sitting behind a desk just tapping their fingers on a desk with one hand, their other hand bracing their chin, a HUGE vindictive "I'm in control and there's nothing you can do about it!" cheesy grin on their smug face, just WAITING for someone else to screw over with great pleasure coursing through their veins!
This petition is not getting the signatures that it needs, everyone. It needs some serious exposure and the only way that will happen is if you all share it with everyone you know. This problem may not be affecting you now, but, and I pray to God this never happens, eventually you're going to have to depend on your insurance company to give you medical care. And guess what? You're not going to be able to get it. There is no feeling more hopeless than not being able to get services from a company that you pay to provide you guaranteed services for your health. I don't even understand why I have insurance. If it were up to me, and I had a choice, I would cancel this policy so fast and wouldn't even bat an eye. But I cannot afford to pay for my own health insurance outside of the affordable care act, or any other crap insurance program that they have in place for our nations people. And truth be told, I probably wouldn't get any better results from any other company than what I'm getting from CIGNA.
What I don't understand is how people can look at this petition, knowing full well what is going on in our nation with peoples' inability to get healthcare, and just pass it up and not sign to show their support. Maybe I'm the fool, but I don't think so. Civilians are being denied health care, veterans are living on the streets unable to get medical treatment after having served our country to protect our freedom. And this petition remains stagnant. I'm not understanding why. So to those of you that have signed, I ask that you please forward this petition to everyone that you know. We need exposure. We need signatures. And the only way that's going to happen is by word-of-mouth and by emailing it to your friends and your families. Please. Send this to everyone that you know.
For those of you that work with me who have signed this petition, I have attached something for your reading pleasure. You may want to consider talking to other people that we work with to show them this information so they know exactly what they're dealing with. It may not be affecting them now, like I said, but eventually they're going to need to file a claim, and they're going to get a huge kick in the teeth.
Please everyone: share, share, share! Many thanks.
