In the last one and a half months not a day went by when dogs of India were not abused & killed

Both individuals and corporations played havoc on these poor souls 

The dogs were raped, thrown from high rise buildings, chopped, relocated, beaten

The caregivers too were not spared 

Many were assaulted, abused especially women caregivers

And to make matters worse an unfortunate incident took place at Vasant Kunj, Delhi where two children were murdered 

The children who were brothers got murdered in an interval of three days and almost all the big media houses very conveniently blamed the dogs for it and started spitting venom against them

And what followed was worse 

More than 40 dogs were picked up from the area by the corporation without any investigation or proof

Thanks to an upcomig and new media channel Bharat 24 which went to the scene of crime and interviewed the mother, Aunt and other residents of the deceased children and found that according to them the children were not killed by dogs, rather they suspect murder and hence want proper investigation in it

The media of India is no less guilty

They have been spitting venom against the Indian dogs without realizing what a terrible impact it would have on the dogs of India and a lobby of media houses have been  advocating euthanization for dogs in India 

Their irresponsible and apathetic reporting has only created more divide and conflict between man and dog 

The problem lies in the faulty implementation of the ABC program and not the dogs of India 

The good news is when the caregivers had almost given up along with their furry friends and were feeling helpless and miserable the Govt of India came to their aid

The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying on 10th March 2023 has notified  the revised Animal Birth Control Program 2023

 According to this the stray dogs of India cannot be removed from their place and the only way to curtail their population is by getting them neutered and spayed

There is joy in the hearts of the caregivers In India and a sense of victory of good over evil

Now it's upto the law enforcement agencies to ensure that ABC rules 2023 are implemented with full honesty & transparency

The Indian dog has suffered a lot and we cannot let him suffer more
