In the capital of India an 80 year old lady along with her dogs was made homeless by the Municipal corporation of Delhi
The MCD had no order for demolition of the makeshift shelter of the old lady where around 70 dogs stay but still they went ahead with the demolition
On 2 January 2023 when the entire capital was ushering the new year with prayers, parties and goodwill for one and all the old lady with her dogs was sitting in open sky shivering in cold and the cruel MCD nor the Chief minister, Ministers, MLAs and MPs came to her help
The next day on 3 January when few animal activists went to help her rebuild her shelter the Delhi police in the most inapproriate manner manhandled them and took them to the police station as if they were terrorists who were a big threat to the society
Nothing can be more shameful than this
Thankfully the laweyrs and the judiciary came to the rescue of the old lady and her dogs
The court has given a relief to the old lady and the dogs by reprimanding the MCD and allowing to make a temporary shed for them to protect them from the chilling cold

24 stray dogs were shot dead in Begusarai in Bihar and this was done on the orders of the local administration,
It has been reported that the dogs have become ferocious and have been attacking women and children, few even lost their life in the attack
The people claim that this is because the local people leave the carcasses of dead cattles in open which these dogs eat hence they have become man eaters and are now attacking humans so best is not to leave carcasses in the open and to bury the dead animal
Anyway what is even more shocking is that even after 24 dogs being killed the remaining dogs have not stopped attacking humans
Wonder how many more dogs will the administration kill?
It seems man has completely lost sanity and animal welfare is only for name sake
The reason for attacks is quite simple which is hunger and uncontrolled dog population
